Tournament: Intermission

We now jump in the story as five more matches pass, leading up to the second round.
With every defeated champion, Egad's collection gains yet another trophy...

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight we have another exclusive interview with none other than the inventor himself, Professor Mize. Only this time, we will be talking about the tournament's actual progression!

This tournament started off with an incredible match between the Demon Hunter Chaos Demonwolf, and the renowned Galen Dhaelos. What do you have to say about that match, Professor?

 Professor Mize tells...
It was clear from the beginning of the match that the lion, Galen Dhaelos, built his strength around force while the wolf rabbit, Chaos Demonwolf, had an edge at agility.

As my teleporters are setup in different locations, 'arenas' if you will, the scenery of battle is automatically randomized and the contestants landed in the primitive- correction, exalted boxing ring where Mr. Dhaelos had a headstrong advantage.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
So are you in fact saying that because of your random match-up system with arenas providing different combat environments, Chaos Demonwolf met his match because of the environment?

Still, one could argue that despite his disadvantage, his final transformation into a demon at the end sure had people in their seats, despite his incredible strength boost still being outmatched by Galen's raw power!

 Chaos Demonwolf thinks...
(Forced to watch the interview on a monitor from inside his glass.)
If people had any idea what transpired that day, they wouldn't be hailing this god damn contest as a fighting sport. I didn't get transported home after losing to Galen, I got stuck in this display case like a trophy.

 2nd Match: Infernous vs Shred

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Now this was a match to remember! At first sight this match seemed like a dead give-away - sky-high combat with only small platforms to balance on, against a flyer.

Whoever would have thought Shred would win this match? That wolf showed a level of skill unlike any other in that match, though his opponent wasn't just a knock-over. Infernous seemed to have the win with his iron artist fists until Shred adapted and turned the tide.

 Professor Mize tells...
This match was a clear example of how combat intelligence works even in real fights. Though no scholar, the wolf, Shred, displayed an example of vast experience in adapting to his opponent's fighting style and quick-thinking with creative solutions to goals normally outside his ability.

Of course, even though flying would seem like an advantageous ability in this scenery, reckless usage was consequently displayed in this battle.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
As you put it professor! Shred took a heavy beating from Infernous' incredible attack power until the wolf flung his wrench at his opponent in flight. The damage to the wings over open air proved to be a drastic fall, and as we all saw the teleporter once again prevented any fatal injuries. We can only hope this great fighter is recovering well for an anticipated rematch some day!

  Ryan Foxmoore thinks...
(Watching the interview on a monitor from his office, with another monitor besides displaying the trophy chamber.)
Of course, Mize's invention was not beyond fixating fractured wing bones to their original form. His device has almost managed to replicate a Pokémon center, only... much more perverted.

  Ryan Foxmoore thinks...
(Replaying camera recordings from the trophy chamber following Infernous' defeat.)
Watching those two studs attempting to talk to each other through a gag with just grunts and moans was nothing short of... madly arousing. Body language wasn't out of the question, but only the throbbing of their raging hard dicks against the glass surface in a desperate attempt for release.

While Chaos had of course figured out the plot to some extend, his reaction to the next captive was still just as amusing. It was one thing to be tied up naked inside a glass case where nobody could see you, it was another thing to have someone placed next to you. Now he had to not only share the sight of his humiliating defeated display, but also share his predicament with that same person.

Infernous of course seemed to have recognized the... purpose of their predicament right away, with him being a powerful and dominant bondage master himself.

3rd Match : Deacon vs Ximon

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
I count myself amongst the people who saw Deacon in the roster and saw a winner. Huge with enough muscle to rival Mr. Universe, while being a bad-ass looking black dragon with a freaking lightning breath attack.

This champion - by himself - looked like a 10-man army to my ol' sheep eyes... of course I was also counted myself amongst the people who did not expect such variety in the arena.

 Professor Mize tells...
Indeed, flight however wonderful an ability to have, does nothing with a narrow roof as tell as your own height. Even for such such a specimen, one could only claim to be flying when going higher than one's own jump.

Naturally, with an unexplainable, unscientific, illogical power called 'magic' based on primitive cultural beliefs of shamanism, Ximon proved his ability to move the earth rather advantageous in a dungeon made of rock and stone.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Still Deacon was no pushover by any means, and even though Ximon was clever and quickly took advantage of his environment, it took a lot more than just one rock slide to stop the power house. Deacon certainly had his moment as the Juggernaut scene from X-men 3. Unfortunately, being continuously buried under massive bricks finally proved the dragon's match.

  Ryan Foxmoore thinks...
(Replaying camera recordings from the trophy chamber following Deacon's defeat.)
Fitting a dragon into such a tiny display glass with the teleporter was of course not a science as simple as squeezing a doll into a class until it's stuffed inside. Mize objected several times to the task until we finally came up with a model that fit, literally speaking.

Deacon was of course a trophy to be prized with his status and power. My previous 'trophies' of course took notice of his massive and powerful form trapped inside that frail glass. I could read their thoughts on their faces, "If a powerful dragon could get captured, then how can we think ourselves above it?" Even his massive throbbing cock against the glass put them to shame!

4th Match : Venorax vs Fenris

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Oh boy were the alarms raised when the vicious assassin and thief Venorax suddenly appeared in the ring. What that snake lacked in brute force, he made up for with cheap dirty poison bites. I think all of our little-boy hearts enjoyed watching the heroic Fenris give this never-before apprehended bad guy a trashing on public television.

Still Professor Mize, the audience is dying to know: How did Venorax end up as your mystery contester? Did you really allow a full-blown criminal to register in a public event?

 Professor Mize tells...
Of course not, the tournament operates completely within law and order. It's only purpose is to illustrate the advancement of science, it has no sinister purpose.

It is but embarrassing to admit that this villain broke into my lab and registered himself by replacing himself with the actual planned mystery contestant, while at first sight we thought it was a mix-up without knowledge of the perpetrator's background. Of course, I agree with that the werewolf's victory served well with the villain's inevitable imprisonment.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Let's not all forget what triggered Fenris' transformation, as the snake attempted to swallow his opponent on the very stage, stunned from continuous poisoned bites and his head already inside the snake's maw, Fenris triggered his rage's true form and gave that serpent bastard a mouthful he couldn't chew.

My favorite part was after continously whacking the snake's head into the ground, the werewolf grabbed its tail and swung it like a flail out of the arena with an applause almost greater than the wolf's victory howl.

  Ryan Foxmoore thinks...
(Replaying camera recordings from the trophy chamber following Venorax's defeat.)
Amazingly enough Mize's cover story almost held true, save for the part about us not discovering Venorax's interference. What he attempted was to make it look like a mix-up, but what he did not know what that I had finger-picked all the champions in the first place with no intent of ever allowing anyone else to participate. The whole sign-up parade was simple a facade to get my targets to get a false sense of security and unknowingly step up on the attunement platform long enough.

Naturally, I decided to let Venorax stay, not only because I loved the idea of trapping one of Zeraxies' villainous relatives inside my little chamber, but also for the joy of trying to curl a serpent inside a glass for display.

5th Match : Strype vs Kre'ul

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
My first impression was like watching Terminator versus Tarzan in real live action, a giant cyborg-like tiger versus a more feline jungle cat. No disrespect to the champion, as Kre'ul of course managed to display there was more to his combat skills than his choice of boxers.

Though the match turned out one-sided, I think of it as a much-needed break from all the suspense! Watching the mechanical legged tiger get blasted around by a few clever based runes was a good show.

 Professor Mize tells...
At the very least, I would defend the blue feline for at least using 'magic' based on some concept of science, rune magic apparently don't just function by wiggling one's nose but by precise illustrations.

Admittedly, I still have a certain bias towards the genius inventor of bionic limbs, as demonstrated in combat by the creator, Strype, himself.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Well now, I never thought I'd hear you admit a fan-crush behind all that research and objective analyzing, Professor! Now I can finally say I have paid my dues as a reporter.

As for the match, though the match-up was interesting, I think we can all agree that the vast difference between the champions was their ability to endure in the incredible chaotic warzone. Even runes had their limits!

 Chaos Demonwolf thinks...
(Reflecting back on the day of Kre'ul's arrival.)

While as a demon hunter and a hero it was my objective goal to escape and continue my mission, I wasn't able to get free and as I had nothing else to do but watch a room filling with nude captive males, I realized something about this bondage.

Before suffering defeat, I was viewed as a demon hunter and it was my identity. But after coming in here, not able to act or even speak, the others saw me as a bondage slave. I was just 'number twelve, Chaos' as the label below my glass prison read. Just another trophy, just another body on display.

I had been completely objectified and while it shamed me to admit, I was no longer Chaos the Demon Hunter... I was now Chaos the bondage slave, a trophy in the fox's growing collection.

Since my first capture, father had taught me not to dwell on temporary defeats. However, I had always viewed the fox as a desperate character who just gave in to lust. However, I could now see what he was doing, I understood the concept behind this plot, and in some way? I respected him more.

Not because I respected his actions, but because I could see what value he was creating by capturing us like this. In some strange way, I felt... proud. I felt proud compared to when I was captured together with my brother years ago. Back then I just felt undermined and forced into thinking of myself as a worthless slave, but the way the fox had aligned us here - these weren't ordinary men, they weren't mortified by this sick level of captivity or humiliation, they were champions, and we were displayed as powerful heroes... however redundant that title was to us now.

Still, I dread to think about what will happen if the fox manages to finish the set... and I would think more clearly if this god damn artificial intense erection wasn't distracting me...

6th Match : Unktehila vs Tooth

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
Talk about a break! In this match we went straight from a war zone into a tranquil lake environment, but our contesters truly brought the monster movie in this battle. Unktehila literally brought in the Godzilla faced against Tooth's subtle hint of Jaws.

It was a peerless battle between two vicious creatures, but inevitably Tooth's sword mastery proved more advantageous than acid spit attacks in a watery environment.

 Professor Mize tells...
Studying different species is a large part of science, and of course their natural survival abilities prove excellent sport in such a contest. However, Unktehila's method of spitting stored acid at the foe would have been more effective against a less adapt swimmer.

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
This still has concluded an incredible first round. We've seen demons and dragons, monsters and an assassin, magic and technology, in all out fighting. Surely this tournament has proven your teleporter's full potentional, what's more to see in this epic tournament? Of course, the elusive grand prize still remains!

  Ryan Foxmoore thinks...
(Replaying camera recordings from the trophy chamber following Unktehila's defeat.)
Of course, the public continues to follow the event like the biggest sport event of the year, while concerned friends and the authority is given fake NDA contracts to stall for the inevitable conclusion. I could just pull the plug and teleport the remaining champions to captivity at once, but where would the fun in that be?

With the arrival of the deliciously masculine beast, the others also began struggle as it became obvious to the captive champions: Six out of twelve glasses had been filled, and now they would start seeing the ones who had defeated them in their own ranks. Would seeing the person who defeated them also a captive make them feel more helpless than ever, knowing that in the end it made difference whether they won or lost?

I had no doubts in my mind they were all placing their hopes on escaping before the contest ended. As it is with capturing groups, they all thought in the back of their head that even if they couldn't break free alone, it would only take a single one of them to break free to release them all. If the current arrival couldn't escape maybe the next one could?

In the meantime, Mize humored me with this privately arranged scoreboard of my own...

 Interviewer Ramy tells...
As of today the match between Fenris and Strype concluded and tomorrow, Galen will showdown against Shred. Stay tuned folks,
this will be a tournament to remember!

    1. While the chapter has been written, the art is still being worked on by me and Galen, so it will be a while before you will see the next release.
